Today in history: Museveni, Mbabazi honour each other

On June 30, 2014 President Yoweri Museveni and then Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi presented honours to each other, attracting wild cheers from people.

This was during the 3rd Uganda Responsibility Investments (URI) awards held at the Imperial Royale Hotel.

The ceremony was attended by members of the business community and political leaders.

Museveni and Mbabazi exchanged a warm handshake and smiles that endorsed their earlier statements that they are not at loggerheads.
