This was the second time Miya is scoring for his side. Earlier in April, Miya scored his first goal for Standard Liege as they defeated Mouscron-Peruwelz 4-1 in the Belgium Pro League.
By March, Miya had lifted his first trophy with Standard Liege –the Belgium Cup –despite being an unused substitute in the 2-1 win over Club Brugge in the final.
The Ugandan international in May, signed a three-year deal to stay at Belgian side Standard Liege until June 2019. The youthful forward, who had been at Standard Liege since January on a $400,000 loan move from Vipers.
