Its dual rotating 13-megapixel autofocus camera is perhaps the major attraction of the phone.

KAMPALA - Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Techno mobile has launched the latest Techno Camon C9 phone on the Ugandan market, three days after it was launched on the Chinese market.

The Camon C9, which is one of the most coveted phones in 2016, entered the Ugandan market fitted in stylish black, gold and grey finishing, to impress its buyers.

The phone which succeeds an earlier C8 comes with improvements in size, camera strength and functionality to fit the diversity and dynamics of the changing mobile phone market.

Its dual rotating 13-megapixel autofocus camera is perhaps the major attraction of the phone, as it comes fixed with a dual-LED flash that can be used both as a rear and front-facing camera.

This makes it the best selfie camera phone, as it enables the user to capture images even in the dark with the innovative dual flash on the front-facing camera.

The front camera is also fixed with a 120 degrees panoramic mode, giving the user enough room to capture all sides of the image.

The 2 GB RAM is also supported by an internal micro SD card storage  with capacity of 16 GB to offer the user enough space to store as much data as possible .

According to its user manual, the SD card can be expanded up to 128GB making it the most ideal phone for people working with bulk data, and requiring external storage.

The phone is also embedded with the latest android V.6.0 marshmallow with processor speed of 64 bit Octa Core, to ensure smooth usability.

As far as security is concerned, the phone is fitted with finger print sensors as well as iris scanners and an internal GPS support system for tracking it in case it is lost.

It's down side perhaps is the 3500mAh battery, which takes more time than necessary to charge when using other chargers not primarily meant for Techno phones.

It is however reportedly set to offer up to 12 hours of usage on a 20 minutes charge, making it the world's fastest charging smartphone.

Launched on Wednesday, the Techno Camon C9 currently goes for sh530, 000 in retail shops around Kampala.
