Entebbe MP's daughter, cyclist killed in accident

A State House visit for Entebbe MP Rose Mary Tumusiime was abandoned after a terrible accident that claimed lives of her daughter, Doreen Tumussime and a boda boda rider.

The tragedy occurred a few meters away from where the MP was near Muzinga Park. The MP was heading to State House to witness the swearing-in of new ministers.

A heavy truck smashed the MP's daughter and boda boda rider. She was heading to work.

Doreen, early this year, graduated from Makerere University. She had since been self employed.

The grief-stricken MP fainted and was rushed to hospital.
