Mbale musician dies from 'poisoning'

Sad news reaching us from the eastern part of Uganda is that a very popular musician in Mbale called Godfrey Wekesa aka Maranji Ranji succumbed to what is believed to have been poison.

The singer rdied reportedly after a long illness which some people thought could have been from poisoning.

Although some say that he had a liver problem, word on the street has it that his stepmother poisoned him.

The exact cause of death is not known though.

Wekesa, 27, was buried on Monday in native Manafwa district.
