Vipers SC claims ownership of Onduparaka's star player

Vipers SC has written to FUFA asking them to block the striker, claiming that he is contracted to them.

The Chief Executive Officer of Onduparaka FC, Anthony Afeti has dismissed Vipers SC's attempts to block Shaban Mohammed from playing in the Uganda Cup final on Saturday.

However, FUFA director of competitions, Ali Mwebe acknowledged receiving Vipers SC grievances and said that they would work on them before the match.

Onduapraka FC is already camped in Makindye, Kampala while Vipers are at St Mary's Kintende secondary School.

FUFA competitions committee boss Ali Mwebe said that they were already helping the two parties to resolve the disagreement before the game at Nakivubo on Saturday.

The winner will pocket sh7m, the runner up will take sh5m and the top scorer will have sh200,000 .
