Scrap Buyers Pool Club handed Hot Pool their first loss of the season after rallying from behind to post a 13-12 victory in the Senior Pool League Saturday.

Hot Pool was leading 11-8 before Scrap Buyers charged from behind after Wasswa Kayiya beat Fred Namanya to steal the show infront of a packed crowd at Lumas Arena.

The win put Scrap Buyers level at 24 points with the Centenary Bank sponsored Ntinda side after nine games in the first round.

Hot Pool, however made amends in the women's category after beating Samona 17-8.

In the other games on Sunday, Icon surprised everybody with shocking 17-8 victory over defending champions Skin Samona in Nansana.

The loss left Samona in second place at 21 points with a better average over Pharmaceutical side CKI who maintained a record highest score in the 16-team event after beating Nakawa 24-1.
