Caesar Kajura and the Baxmba Waves in fundraiser for special needs children

The Baxmba Waves, led by Geoffrey Lubuulwa, is a jazz group that makes the rounds in Kampala.

When he was young, he discovered he was different from other children. He was autistic, and needed special attention. So he parents took him to the Hill Preparatory School for children with special needs.

Decades later, now a full grown man and a sensational saxophone player, Kajura will team up with the Baxmba Waves in a special jazz show at the National Theatre this Wednesday. The show begins at 7:30pm

The Baxmba Waves, led by Geoffrey Lubuulwa, is a jazz group that makes the rounds in Kampala. Lubuulwa is young brother to the late Tony Sengo, Once a month the band  hosts the Jazz Resonance show at the National Theatre.

Kajura was introduced to the Uganda music industry in 2012 during the Oscar Kihika and Friends concert at the Kampala Serena. He has since released two albums, Self Discovery, and City Life.
