Several sponsors are already signed and up and ready to give show goers their best

Everything is in high gear for the eighth edition of the annual Bride & Groom Expo set to take place from June 24 to 26.

Several sponsors are already signed and up and ready to give show goers their best.

In a press conference at the Vision Group head offices on Friday afternoon, the sponsors reaffirmed their commitment for the Expo.

Saied Azari, the director of sales marketing at Darling Uganda, says through the Expo, they are able to not only give brides-to-be great tips for options with their hair, it also gives them an avenue to build their brand.

"Since we get a big mileage at the Expo, this helps us reach our target audience which is a platform for us to showcase our new products," Azari says.

Robert Kigula, the social marketing manager of (Uganda Health Marketing Group (UHMG), says the Expo is a great platform for them to create awareness for couples to be and the audience at large about the different methods of family planning.

"We are going to have all the several ways or methods of family planning so that people can learn to plan for their families in a better way," Kigula says.

Along with UHMG and Darling, the other sponsors include Uganda Registration and Services Bureau, Uganda Insurers Association, Coca Cola, Silk Events and Castle Lite.

The Bride and Groom Expo will be open from Friday, June 24, at UMA exhibition hall, at only sh7,000.
