Making a quick sale out of Kalerwe traffic jam

Vendors at Kalerwe along the Gayaza Road use the jam to sell fresh foodstuffs to motorists who seem to have no time to visit the nearby market.

Although a heavy traffic jam is always a headache to motorists especially during the evening rush hours, to others it is a blessing.

Vendors at Kalerwe along the Gayaza Road use the jam to sell fresh foodstuffs to motorists who seem to have no time to visit the nearby market.

Some fresh foodstuffs are not hygienically handled and could be contaminated.  

 Health experts recommend that food should be properly handled right from the garden to the kitchen and to the serving table.
