A fortnight ago, I carried out a transaction on one of Uganda's newest online marketplaces; GoodsExpress.

A few transactional clicks on their website enabled me to purchase genuine first hand leather sneakers from the American E-commerce giant Amazon.

The K-Swizz sneakers cost 150,000 shs. I received them in a week's time.
No shipping or delivery fees were levied on me.

Hitherto, I was not aware that I could use a Ugandan online marketplace to purchase a product from overseas.
Well it worked for me and it was courtesy of GoodsExpress.com, a site that is very much breaking the mould in terms of innovating and radically doing E-commerce in Uganda.
