Wakiso Police has arrested a Ghanaian identified as Peter Woods, 46, after finding him distributing fake money in Wakiso town.

The arrest followed a tipoff by one of the victims of woods leading to his arrest.

Daniel Mugerwa, a student of Kampala International University says that this is the second time to meet woods. The first time was with his friend Yusufu Batooro, 23, who introduced him to Woods.

"We went to town and they sampled for me by multiplying my money which was a sh20, 000 note by two and later gave me sh40, 000," said Mugerwa.

He added: "This time they had come to my home in Wakiso and requested for sh5m so that they can give me sh15m but I became suspicious and informed police. When police arrived, my friend Batooro escaped," said Mugerwa.
