MPs take oath for 10th Parliament

Members of Parliament today began taking oath ahead of what will be the 10th Parliament in an exercise that will last for three days.
The event started at 8:30am with familiar faces such as Speaker of the 9th Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, Lira Municipality Jimmy Akena, Youth MP Monicah Amoding, musician Judith Babirye and Dokolo Woman MP Cecilia Ogwal.
Others were former World Junior athletics champion Julius Achon, 3rd Deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali, Sarah Opendi the State Minister for Primary Healthcare and FDC strongwoman Beatrice Anywar among others.
