Nemostars secure sponsorship deal

Uganda top volleyball side Nemostars VC will have themselves to blame if fail to seal a sponsor deal with GoodsExpress.com.

The online shopping company has offered to bankroll the current league champions if the Kololo based club can prove that they deserve the  sh150m sponsorship package at the AMACO pre-season tournament in Kenya, Rwanda Genocide Cup, Uganda Open and any other tournament of their choice.

While unveiling the sh15.5m 'test' package, GoodsExpress.com marketing manager Joan Garimoi said that if the club performs well in the above tournaments, her company would seal a season sponsorship deal with them.

Former Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) official Eddie Okila, who helped the national champions secure the deal advised that, "any good thing takes time to come. We are getting there".

Nemostars are expected to return from Eldoret on Monday to prepare for the Rwanda Genocide Cup that is slated for this weekend.

Nemostars founder Ojala said, "We have been able to achieve while struggling financially, the deal we have just signed with GoodsExpress.com will go a long away in boostingour activities. All we can promise is that we shall play harder to make sure we continue to grow with the new partner".
