Buganda Regional League: Free Stars take on Luwero

Apr 19, 2016

Free Stars have already been relegated and will have nothing to play for.

Free Stars FC will be visiting Luwero United FC on Wednesday in the Buganda Regional League in Luwero.

Free Stars have already been relegated and will have nothing to play for, save for completing their remaining games.

The nail into their final coffin was delivered by Seeta United who beat them 1-0 in their last game.

They managed to collect a point from Luwero United in a goalless game at home in Mukono in the first round.

On the other hand, Luwero have no chance of going to the play-offs even if they win the game.

They were beaten by Masavu FC last season in the final of the campaign of joining the FUFA Big league.

Luwero United's Joshua Kigozi said that failing to go back for the play-offs was "something we did not think about. But the blame is ours because we started the season badly".

"We are going to get maximum points from Free Stars come Wednesday," he added.
