45 schools confirm participation for Soroti games

A total of 45 primary schools in Soroti Municipality have confirmed their participation in this year's Primary Schools Kids athletics competitions.

This was revealed by the municipal sports officer Lucy Anoo while talking to Etop Radio.

Anoo said the two day event will kick off on Thursday 21st to 22nd at Soroti district sports ground.

She said the two day event will enable Soroti Municipal sports department name a team of 50 athletes which will represent the municipality at the national kids athletics tournament that will be hosted by Masindi Public Primary school in Masindi district.

Anoo noted that all the 18 government and 27 private schools are expected to take part in this year's municipal competitions.
