Police issues out traffic guidelines for NRM fete

In a press release issued Friday afternoon, police noted that all vehicles without parking privileges (stickers) will park at City High School and Boda Bodas will not access Kololo ceremonial ground.

Kampala Metropolitan Police has issued out guidelines for drivers and riders to follow as National Resistance Movement celebrates the party's victory in the recently concluded national presidential elections.

In a press release issued Friday afternoon, police noted that all vehicles without parking privileges (stickers) will park at City High School and Boda Bodas will not access Kololo ceremonial ground.

Police further clarifies that all drivers without yellow stickers will park at City High School and riders in will have parking at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) grounds and at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA).

Pedestrians will use the lower Kololo terrace to access the grounds as well as all lorries related to the function will pack at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) grounds near game shopping mall.

Upper Kololo terrace will be closed to the public from 6am till the end of the function according to the press release.

Police urges drivers to display their stickers to facilitate quick guidance during movement around Kololo.
