Court finds that Mbabazi's legal team had no evidence to pin the Electoral Commission on noncompliance.

The Supreme Court has dismissed the presidential poll petition filed by former premier Amama Mbabazi, challenging the outcome of the February 18 presidential polls.

Court found that Mbabazi's legal team had no evidence to prove that President Yoweri Museveni bribed voters and had no substantial proof to pin the Electoral Commission on noncompliance with the electoral laws adding that most of the evidence was based on hearsay.
