Free Stars make a trip to Kira United

Victory today will lift the Mukono-based side out of the relegation zone.

Free Stars FC will look to fight their way out of the relegation zone of the Buganda Regional League when they face Kira United on Wednesday.

It's a tricky away fixture against the table leaders in the second round of the league.

But Free Stars will be boosted by their win over Azam FC in their last game. Two games in a row (a draw and a win) without losing will give them more belief as they fight to climb out of the drop zone.

Victory today will lift the Mukono-based side out of the relegation area - but they will have to rely on improved mentality and attitude to bag three vital points on the travels.

Striker Brian Muteesasira returns from a neck injury. Midfielder Senoga Usien is a doubt, having come from the post-primary games.

Meanwhile, Kira United thumped Free Stars 5-0 in the reverse fixture in the first round. And they are four points adrift of second-placed Seeta United.

Kira's head coach John Kimuli is confident of victory. "We are going to get maximum points from Free Stars FC come Wednesday."

And he has reason to belief so as all his players are in good shape.
