Mpiriirwe and Ulbrich to travel with the Rugby Cranes

Rugby fans Moses Mpiriirwe and Lea Ulbrich are the first winners of an all expenses paid trip to support the Rugby Cranes during their Elgon and Confederartion of African Rugby (CAR) matches due in June.

The two were the first to be drawn during the Nile Special Rugby league match between the Sadolin Mongers and the Ezee Money Rhinos in Entebbe on Saturday.

As the Rhinos edged the hosts 16-15 on the pitch the two were among five winners who upon buying three Nile Special beers entered the draw from which they emerged winners.

The two together with Alishia Kiiza, Cate Nakachwa and Simon Moses Mayero are part of the 75 fans  who in conjunction with the Uganda Rugby Fan Zone and  Nile Special are going to win 75 tickets during various league games for both the international home and away Rugby Cranes games to ensure the team is supported in both campaigns.30 and 20 tickets will be given out for the home and away games against Kenya, 20 against Namibia and 5 against Zimbabwe in Harare.

Mpiriirwe will fly with the team to Nairobi for their return Elgon Cup fixture on July 30 while Ulbrich will travel with the team to Zimbabwe on July 16.

On their part, Alishia Kiiza and Cate Nakachwa will enjoy VIP treatment on top of a free entry ticket to the first Elgon Cup match against Kenya in Kampala on June 4.

More draws are going to be held during other subsequent league matches to determine the other 70 winners following a promotion launched last week aimed at re-gearing support and energy around the national team.
