Future Soccer Foundation Futsal Club has withdrawn from the weekly Mini-League after the organisers docked them three points for fielding FUFA licensed players contrary to rules of the competition.

The team sponsored by SSL Logistics withdrew from the league last Tuesday after the 3-2 loss to Typhoons FC citing fights among participating teams.

According to SSL Logistics Managing Director Shady Ezedine, who co-founded the club with Jessy Lukoki, they could not stay in the league because it would be hard to achieve their target of developing players for the foreign market.

"Our target is much bigger than a futsal League, we are sending players abroad and I am working for the sake of my players and their future, but not to get abused in the pitch every time. Leaving the League was also the request of my players," Ezedine said.

Chairman of Futsal Association Uganda Hamza Jjunju acknowledged receipt of Future Soccer Foundation's withdrawal notice but insisted that they had to implement the rule of the competition without favour.

Lebanese FC and Italtex have all lost points for the fielding ineligible players in the league.
