Bukedi College Kachonga was one of the most famous schools in eastern region in the olden days.

While it is one of the schools that benefited from a $1m (sh3.6b) Government rehabilitation programme under the African Development Bank loan, questions abound whether it was a wide decision to put up new structures while the old buildings simply needed a facelift.
