Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has named 30 players to play against Burkina Faso in the upcoming AFCON 2017 group D qualifier matches.

The team composed of 12 local and 18 foreign based players starts non-residential training at the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole on Friday.

Surprise names on the squad include Big League side Proline teenage striker Edrisa Lubega.Returnees are Mike Azira and Mike Sserumaga.

Uganda plays Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou on Saturday March 26 before the return leg three days later. The Egyptian referees will handle the first leg match.
