Vision Volleyball Camp beat Sport-S VC to win the Joan Cox Memorial Volleyball Cup for the second time in as many years.

Although VVC lost the Ndejje Open Volleyball Championship falling out in the semifinals a week earlier, the Namboole based club beat Sport-S 15-11 in the decisive set.

"I expect a very competitive season. Although we as Sport-S need time to bond, we should be able to compete for the trophies. Losing two finals is not the end. We are good but we need time to bond," Busingye, who moved from VVC to Sport-S in the January transfer, said.

In the schools category, of the two day event at Gayaza High School, Trust High dethroned Kinawa High in the U-21 grouping while Kinawa Mugongo Junior tamed Namugongo Vocational in the U-16 category.
