Brig. Musanyufu said that he is the secretary of the UPDF board that is mandated to retire military officers but has never received any document stating that Gen.Sejusa was retired.
Gen. Sejusa's lawyers led by his son Kenneth Munungu and David Mushabe earlier asked court to adjourn the trial citing their intention to seek constitutional interpretations of some legal questions from the Constitutional Court.
The court chairman, under the advice of the court's superior judge advocate, Lt. Col. Gideon Katinda, rejected the request and proceeded to hear the witness.
This forced defence lawyers not to ask Brig. Musanyufu any questions prompting court to adjourn the matter next Friday 18.
The General was thus remanded again to Luzira prisons.
Meanwhile one of Gen. Sejusa's lawyers, David Mushabe, said that they are still going to task the High Court and the Constitutional Court to decide wether the General Court Martial has jurisidiction over the fomers' case.
