Big League: Proline stretch lead with win over Masavu

Proline extend their lead after brushing aside Masavu in the FUFA Big League.

Former topflight side Proline extended their lead in the Rwenzori Group after beating rivals Masavu 1-0 at Nakivubo stadium Thursday in the FUFA Big League.

The win that stretched Proline's lead to 39 points, 10 points adrift of second-placed Masavu, will be also relished as a revenge after Masavu beat  Proline with similar result in the first round.

Emma Asiku scored the only goal for Proline in the first half of the game.

Elsewhere, Boma Young thrashed home side Lira United at Lango Sports Ground while Citizen defeated Sun City 4-2 at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.

At Bugonga, Entebbe played to a two-all draw with Wandegeya while Synergy walloped Kireka United at the outside pitch of Namboole stadium.

 In Busia, the Busia Fisheries versus Artland  game was  aborted  10 minutes before the final whistle as the visitors led 1-0.
