FDC dominating LC 3 elections in Kasese district

The FDC was by press time Wednesday evening leading with 14 (48.3%) followed by NRM - 8 seats (about 28%, with the independent trailing behind with 1 seat out of the 29 LC3s in the district.

Bukonzo West constituency, represented in parliament by Defence Minister, Dr Chrispus Kiyonga, who lost his parliamentary seat to FDC in the recent parliamentary elections, had so far got four NRM LC 3 seats the highest number so far.

FDC won all the six parliamentary seats, the LC 5 chair and 30 district councillor seats
