Uganda rises three places in FIFA rankings

Uganda's next opponent in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers Burkina Faso dropped to 86th from 85th position

Uganda has risen three places in the latest FIFA Rankings released today in Zurich. 

Uganda has moved from 70th position in the previous month to 67th in the world and 13th in Africa. 

Uganda remains the best ranked in the CECAFA region followed by Rwanda in 85th, Kenya is 3rd in 103 while Tanzania remained in 125th position. 

Uganda's next opponent in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers Burkina Faso dropped to 86th from 85th position while Botswana and Comoros, the other opponents in the group are in 92nd and 173rd positions respectively. 

Belgium maintained top position followed by Argentina, Spain, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia, England and Austria in the 10th position.
