Volleyball clubs have intensified their training in preparation for the 2016 season that begins with the Ndejje volleyball championship on March 5-6 at the University Campus in Luweero.
Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) assistant coach, Dannie Okwee told New Vision that he is determined to win medals this season.
"We are working on power, coordination and accuracy on the court as we prepare for the season," Okwee stated.
Okwee explained that they have been on a holiday and that many players have lost both their fitness and strength. He said the drills are meant to get them back on form.
The Ndejje championship is usually used by clubs to test their strength and also test their new recruits ahead of the League and other championships.
