Kasiwukira's widow denies killing husband

Sarah Nabikolo, the widow of slain city businessman, Eria Ssebunya Bugembe alias Kasiwukira and her co-accused have denied charges of murder.

Appearing before Justice Wilson Masalu Musene, the head of criminal division of the High Court on Monday, Sarah Nabikolo, 62 and her co-accused denied the charges, saying they did not kill Kasiwukira as alleged.

Nabikolo was jointly charged with her young sister Sandra Nakungu, 36, and a police officer Ashraf Jaden, 40 with the murder of Kasiwukira. 

The trio appeared composed before the Judge during plea-taking.

This prompted Musene to enter plea of not guilty against the accused and further remanded them to Luzira Maximum Prison where they have spent 13 months.
