KCCA wallops URA, still top

League top scorer with ten goals, Robert Ssentongo, tried to bring back URA when he scored a penalty after KCCA FC defender Timothy Awanyi brought down URA striker Nicholas Kagaba, but that did not take long after Muzamir Mutyaba netted the winner for KCCA

KCCA maintained their lead in the Azam Uganda Premier after defeating URA 3-1 at Nakivubo stadium today. The Lugogo based is now at 32 points,three points  above second placed Police.

The Lugogo-based  outfit took a  lead  at  the start  of the  second  half  through Joseph Ochaya's free kick  before  Paul Mucureezi added  the second for KCCA FC few minutes later.

Elsewhere, The Saints beat BUL 3-1 at Namboole stadium while Soana defeated Sadolin Paints 2-1 away at Bugembe stadium.

At Kavumba, Police was defeated by Lweza 2-1 while Maroons lost to BrightStars away at Champion stadium in Matugga.

In Jinija,JMC  Hippos  played  to a goalless draw with Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) at Kakindu stadium.
