NRM candidate President Yoweri Museveni secured a decisive victory in the just concluded presidential elections

NRM supporters have been warned not to relax ahead of the local government elections on Wednesday in a bid to help the party secure more victories in the second phase of elections.

Mike Sebalu the head of the NRM campaign publicity team stressed that there is need to ensure that the party wins more seats at the local government level in spite of the victory that its candidate President Yoweri Museveni secured in the just concluded presidential elections.

"We still have a job to do on the 24th of February. We have yet another set of elections that we want to win and we should continue to lobby people to vote" Sebalu said.

At the party secretariat Kyadondo, Sebalu noted that the party suffered a number of defeats in the first round of the elections where a considerable number of parliamentarians and ministers on the party ticket failed to retain their seats.
