SC Villa coach Ibrahim Kirya has challenged his players not to relax if they hope to progress to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Villa beat Khartoum Watani 1-0 away in Sudan in the first leg of their preliminary round match but Kirya believes they still need to work hard in the return leg at Nakivubo on Saturday.

Taddeo Lwanga scored Villa's only goal.

"Let's plan for the return game since anything can happen. In 2003, Villa represented Uganda in CAF Champions League and we beat Atletico Sport Aviacao of Angola 2-1 away in the first leg but lost the return leg 2-0 due to many injuries in Kampala and were eliminated. So we need to be focused. Khartoum is a good team. We shall celebrate after the win on Saturday," Kirya stated.

If Villa progress, they will face JKU (Zanzibar) after CAF gave them a walkover against Gaborone of Botswana.

Meanwhile, Vipers hope to build on their 1-0 win over Nigeria side Enyimba when the two face off at Amiessimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Vipers won the first leg courtesy of Erisa Sekisambu's goal.

If Vipers progress, they will play either Lioli (Lesotho) or Vital'O of Burundi in the first round. Vital'O won the first leg 2-1 away from home.

The Enyimba versus Vipers game will be handled by referees from Senegal
