Justice Ogoola registers as election observer

The registration process has been running for the last few weeks

The chairman of the Elders Forum, Justice James Ogoola was among the election observers that were registered and successfully accredited at the ministry of foreign affairs in Kampala.

The registration was conducted by the Electoral Commission, the Media Centre and ministry of foreign affairs officials.

Ogoola queued among dozens of local and international election observers. Local and international journalists also got accredited through the process on the eve of the general elections. The process involved filing a form and having one's picture taken with a digital camera.

The registration process has been running for the last few weeks.

Ogoola was accompanied by the Inter Religious Council (IRC) secretary general, Joshua Kitakule and former secretary Canon Grace Kaiso.

IRC and the Elders Forum recently organized the presidential debates which featured all the eight presidential candidates.
