KCCA without the Lord Mayor is fantastic - Musisi

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) executive director, Jennifer Musisi, has said that the authority's administration without the Lord Mayor is superb.

"We are doing really well without the Lord Mayor. We have made tremendous progress without the Lord Mayor. Our administration minus the Lord Mayor is fantastic," Musisi said.

She was Wednesday morning interacting with city dwellers on various issues that affect Kampala on twitter.

Musisi revealed that designs for the fly over project on Queen's Way at Clock Tower (Entebbe Road) and Kitgum House (Jinja Road) are complete and construction will commence soon.

She said that a lot has been achieved under her tenure while slamming her detractors.  

"I have fought corruption through strengthening the finance systems especially the revenue collection department. I am here till God says I should go. I never worry about my security and the threats that come along," she said. 

She made a plea to the public to report enforcement officers who are compromised and construction of illegal buildings.
