Blick has sent his Subaru N10 Pro-drive to Dar Es Salaam to work on its power in preparation for the next event which will be held in Kabale next month.

Despite dropping out of the opening event of the 2016 national rally championship (NRC) in Mbarara, defending champion Arthur Blick Jr. has said that it is too early to rule him out of the NRC title.

Blick told New Vision in an interview that there are still six events left for him to collect the points needed to defend his title.

"It is too early to call and those who think that am out of the title race are joking," Blick stated.

"It was safety that let us down when we decided to save a boda-boda rider and hit the road side, breaking our suspension in the process."

Blick also revealed that he has sent his Subaru N10 Pro-drive to Dar Es Salaam to work on its power in preparation for the next event which will be held in Kabale next month.

"Heiko is working on the power of the car and we shall go for maximum attack in Kabale because this is the opportunity to reclaim some of the points we lost last month," Blick explained.

2014 NRC champion Ronald Ssebuguzi won the Mbarara rally last month with a comfortable 100 points lead.
