BUTAMBALA - There was excitement and jubilations from teachers, students and parents of Bulo Parents Secondary School in Bulo sub county, Butambala district after the Uganda National Examinations Board finally released the Senior Four results of 201 students who sat in 2015 UCE exams.

UNEB withheld results of 201 students citing examination malpractice.

Releasing the results to teachers, parents and students yesterday, Hadji Ibra Mukasa, the school head teacher said UNEB had acted on false information from people who had axes to grind.

"We have many enemies around us who are hurt by our performance here, they fill bad to see village schools performing excellently like this so they had to look for ways to tarnish our school by saying that we cheated exams," said Mukasa.

The chairman Board of governors for the school who is also the national vice chairman for the ruling NRM party, Hadji Moses Kigongo who also graced the occasion sounded a warning to the people who reported Bulo Parents S.S to UNEB adding that he would deal with them accordingly.

"I want to warn people who are against our school that they are about to face it, let them continue with the sabotage they will know who I am," Kigongo said.

The head teacher could not hide his grief over people who are trying to tarnish the name of the school. He said UNEB finally released the exams after they went and explained their case.

"On getting the news that results of our students had been withheld, I went to UNEB and I explained to them and they later released the results" said Mukasa.

Out of the 201 students who sat for UCE Exams, 32 passed in grade one, 74 in second grade, 63 in third grade and 32 passed in the fourth grade.

The best student Abdul Ssemwanga who scored aggregate 14 in the best eight could not hide the excitement.

"I almost died when I heard that our exams had been withheld, we have never cheated exams, but now I am happy that I have finally received the results" said the excited Ssemwanga.

He attributed his success to hard work and dedicated teachers who always encouraged them to work hard.

The story was not different for Musa Kambo who became second at the school with aggregate 16.

"The first thing that came to mind was school fees that is a problem to my parents, I would spend a week at home looking for school fees and when I had that our exams had been withheld I cried," he said.
