New semester begins next week

Meanwhile students at the institution completed their end of semester examinations on Monday and contrary to the 2016 school's calendar which required all schools to open after elections, Prof. Eli Katunguka, the University's acting vice chancellor said the university will open for its second semester next week.

"Our students did not sit for their exams at the end of the year, because of the non-teaching staff strike, which paralyzed activities for over a month. Students will be given about three days to travel to their different polling stations when the time comes," he said.
