His death comes barely two weeks after an underground copper carrier got derailed and crashed another worker Zimonia Kalisya's pelvic bones

Another employee of the Tibet Hima mining company worker died instantly at Kilembe in Kasese while operating a company mill.

Enos Rusunzu 21, was Sunday crashed by  a conveyer drum used by the copper mill machine. The machine sucked his head  into the conveyer system causing serious damage to his skull and brain.

"Yes its true Enos Rusunzu died this morning at 5:50 a.m when a running drum of the Conveyor pulled a jacket he was wearing and crashed his head," Katampora told the press at Kilembe Hospital where police took the body for postmortem.

His death comes barely two weeks after an underground copper carrier got derailed and crashed another worker Zimonia Kalisya's  pelvic bones on December 2  leading to hemorrhage that caused his death.

Kwatampora said efforts to save the deceased's life by his workmate who was nearby were futile since the machine was running faster despite switching off its emergency switch.

He added that Rusunzu had just been employed by the Chinese mining company a month ago and he was currently undergoing on-job training on how to operate a copper mill machine.

His body was immediately rushed to the nearby Kilembe Mines Hospital with the help of Kasese Central Police station Officers where he was confirmed dead.

A postmortem report from the hospital indicated that Rusunzu died of extensive damage on his skull.

The father to the deceased John Musenyi described his son as the breadwinner and that his demise had left a big gap in the family.

Kwatampora said the company would foot the burial expenses and that plans were underway to compensate the deceased's  family.
