As the “Dance With The Champion” concert for this Friday draws closer, party lovers have been urged to go enjoy the show rest assured security will be tight at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala, the venue.

The concert will feature two Jamaican artistes Busy Signal and Konshens.

At a press conference held morning at Sheraton Kampala Hotel Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson, Patrick Onynago, revealed that over 10,000 security personnel will be deployed in an around  the venue.
 
Onyango said, “All counter- terrorism units, access control teams will be at the venue. “We are deploying a minimum of 3000 and a maximum of 10,000 security personnel at the venue. No weapons will be allowed at the venue unless you are uniformed security personnel on duty. Knives and other sharp objects will not be allowed at the venue,” he confirmed.

In attendance at the briefing was Busy Signal flanked by event’s promoter, Balaam Barugahara,  BK Afrobeat’s  Benon Kasenene, Pepsi brand manager Berna Kizza, Onyango and Bruhane Zirabamuzale, the administrative officer Kampala metropolitan police station.

Busy Signal express delight at performing in Uganda for the second time in a brief speech laced with Jamaican patois.
 “I feel at home in Uganda and I promise you to expect entertainment to the fullest. One billion percent of entertainment,” he said.

Tickets for the Pepsi- sponsored event are on sale and will cost sh30,000 (ordinary) sh75,000 (VIP) and sh150,000 for a table of 10 people. Gates will open at 12:00pm until midnight.
