UGANDA U-17 football team head coach Matia Lule is coy about the team’s chances against Seychelles in the return leg of the 2015 African U-17 Championship qualifiers.
Uganda lead the first round of the qualifiers 2-1 on aggregate but Lule said that after chatting with his Seychellois counterpart, he expects a stiff challenge for his boys in the return leg at Nakivubo on June 28.
“We need to keep our focus because we cannot start imagining a fixture against Rwanda when we still have a huddle against Seychelles. In my chat with their coach, it is clear that they expect us to relax in the return leg,” Lule said.
But the U-17 team captain Andrew Okiring is confident that his team enjoys the advantage ahead of the second leg.
“I only rate their striker who scored against us. He is always at the right place at the right time. I will tell my colleagues to look out for him,” Isiagi noted.
The Cubs have resumed training in Njeru. Seychelles is expected to jet in for the game on Wednesday.
