UGANDA Volleyball Federation will host their second Confederations Africa Volleyball U-19 Cup qualifiers at Lido Beach

UGANDA Volleyball Federation will host their second Confederations Africa Volleyball U-19 Cup qualifiers at Lido Beach on Friday 23, May, 2014.

African giants Egypt, Rwanda, Kenya and Namibia are expected to jet in Thursday for the competitions starting on Friday.

UVF beach volleyball commission chairman Mofaht Masaba said that African giants Egypt, Rwanda, Kenya and Namibia are expected to arrive on Thursday for the three-day competition starting on Friday.

“We have taken a while to arrive at the squad and I can tell you we picked the best out of a number of players who underwent the training. So I am sure we shall do something,” Masaba said before heading in for a technical meeting pertaining to final organisational process.

Uganda will be represented by St Mary’s Kitende pair Kathbert Malinga and Elias Isiagi.

Faith Magole (Kinaawa High) and Jackline Kwikiriza (St. Bridget Mbarara) will represent the country in the women category.

Uganda's squad has been undergoing training since last month under coach Sam Meya.
