President Yoweri Museveni has called members of the executive of the NRM Youth League and NRM youth representatives in Parliament for a meeting at his country home in Rwakitura today.

The youth started the journey to Rwakitura Thursday morning.

The Rwakitura meeting comes two days after the President met the youth at State House, Entebbe and reconciled the various camps that had started to prop up within the youth league ranks.

During the meeting at Entebbe, Museveni reconciled the groups and also urged them to work for unity in the party and also follow the NRM ideology, which is weaved around nationalism, patriotism, Pan-Africanism and social-economic transformation of the country.

Speaking to New Vision, Dennis Namara, confirmed that the President invited the youth to his country home today to share his rich knowledge in agriculture and how they can use agriculture to boost household income, especially among the youth.

“We are going to tour his farm and also learn how we can use agriculture to empower the youth,” he said.

Eastern Youth MP, Peter Ogwang, said that the second meeting with the President will focus on transformational issues and what the youth in the NRM League can do to elevate others.

At State House, Entebbe, the youth resolved to support Museveni‘s sole candidature for 2016.
