Somali President in Uganda

The Somali President Hassan Shiekh Mohamud is in Uganda to hold talks with his counterpart President Yoweri Museveni.

The Somali president Hassan Shiekh Mohamud is in Uganda to hold talks with his counterpart President Yoweri Museveni.

Shiekh Mohamud was received at Entebbe International Airport by state minister for regional cooperation, Asuman Kiyingi and as some senior security officials.

 New Vision however, could not readily establish the issues to be discussed by the two Presidents.

Uganda is a leading contributor of a peace-keeping contingent in Somalia under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
