Panic as trader goes missing

A newlywed bride is in untold panic after her husband went missing on Monday. Dan Ssekanjako 28, a scrap dealer is reported to have gone shopping in Kikuubo trading centre, according to the wife.

A newlywed bride is in untold panic after her husband went missing on Monday. Dan Ssekanjako 28, a scrap dealer is reported to have gone shopping in Kikuubo trading centre, according to the wife.

The wife, Harriet Nabaweesi, said on that morning her husband had told her that he was going shopping.

She says he got a phone call while they were having breakfast and he hastily left, and did not even finish his tea. He even forgot his phone home.

She says her husband has always informed her of his movements since they started staying together.

She says when the husband never returned home for lunch as was his custom she went to is shop but was shocked not to find him there.

Eddie Luzze, the shop attendant, an in-law to Ssekanjako told her he had not seen him since morning.

Ssekanjako had also told his wife that he would be leaving his car at the washing bay.

In the evening, Nabaweesi was alarmed when her husband’s car was returned and the car washer said he had been instructed to take the car back after washing. That is the last he had seen of Ssekanjako.

The Kireka police boss Ronald Mugabi says they have mounted a manhunt for the trader. the case is registered as SD: 29/01/14.
