THE FUFA Super League board has slapped a five match ban on Simba FC coach Fred Kajoba and awarded Express FC three points and three goals for their match that was aborted at Wankulukuku last Friday.

The board has also fined Kajoba sh750,000 after the referee’s report implicated him in circumstances that led to the abandonment of the Super League match.

The match at Wankulukuku was aborted when it was still goalless with only five minutes to go when Kajoba allegedly called on his players to protest a decision by the match referee.

He will immediately miss Simba’s away match against Sports Club Villa at Nakivubo on Friday, home matches against KCCA, Police as well as away matches to Soana and SCVU.

“The referee report singled out Simba coach Fred Kajoba as being the sole reason as to why the game was abandoned when he called off his entire team as a way of protesting a decision that went against his team,” a statement signed by FUFA Super League chairman Abbas Kawaase read in part.

Simba are currently eleventh on the table of 16.
