Mufti returns after three weeks' official visit

The Mufti of Uganda, His Eminence Shk. Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje is back in the country after a three weeks’ officials visit to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Mufti of Uganda, His Eminence Shk. Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje is back in the country after a three weeks’ officials visit to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

During his visit he met several high profile officials in the three countries.

While briefing UMSC Management officials shortly after returning Wednesday, the Mufti said the focus of his visit was to seek partnerships with Muslim brothers and sisters in the areas of education, health and Islamic propagation.

The Mufti held fruitful discussions with his hosts who expressed interest in partnering with UMSC in various programs. 

During the discussions, the Mufti said, he informed his hosts about the ongoing programs at UMSC as well as a number of government programs in which they can take part.

He further said that, following the discussions, a high profile delegation from Saudi Arabia and Dubai will soon come to Uganda to bolster the partnership with UMSC.

The Mufti was received at the airport by the UMSC Secretary General, Shk Siraj Zaid Kavuma, the UMSC Secretary for Religious Affairs Shk. Murshid Luwemba and the Secretary for Finance and Planning Shaban Magala.
