DESPITE getting a walkover after Sadolin Mongers failed to turn up for the playoff on Saturday at Makerere, Xfm Impis will have to wait for a board room decision by the URU executive to confirm whether they will play in the premiership league or not.

The rescheduled playoffs between the two teams flopped for the second time when the former didn’t turn up.

This prompted the referee Richard Akena to award a walkover that automatically gives Xfm Impis a win and promotion to feature in the inaugural Super Six Premiership next season.

Last Saturday, the game still flopped and URU decided to reschedule.

However, Mongers chairman Kigongo Ssebalamu when contacted said that they are only waiting for the union to handle their grievances they forwarded before they feature in the playoffs.

“They can do what they want but we also have plan b, we still agree that we can sort out this matter in a professional and mutual way but if they force us to the limit we shall go to plan b which I don’t think will be good,” a furious Kigongo said.

We still insist that let them produce the minutes where we signed that we are going to play the Super Six and three clubs will be relegated with one promoted, “Kigongo added.

Rugby manager Yayiro Kasasa declined to comment on the matter and efforts to get to URU officials were futile.
