Chameleone queen dancer disputes DNA test results

A former queen dancer who has featured in singer Jose Chameleone’s music videos insists he is the father to her daughter despite DNA test results proving otherwise.
 

The drama, at the centre of which is queen dancer Naila Salim’s four-year old daughter  Tasman Nalim, started when Naila dragged the singer to FIDA seeking redress over child neglect.

Chameleone vehemently denied the claims and said he was more than ready to submit to a DNA test to put the matter to rest.

The government analytics laboratory in Wandegeya on January 24, 2014 released the official DNA test results indicating that Chameleone and Naila’s daughter did not share even an iota of a gene, hence throwing the dancer in a state of panic and disbelief.true
 

Naila (right) however insisted despite the test results, she was sure he was the father of her daughter!
 

Officials at the lab said comprehensive tests had been carried out on twenty two body agents including blood, saliva, sweat, nails and urine, and conclusive results absolved Chameleone from responsibility for Naila’s daughter.
 

Basking in relief, the pencil thin singer tattooed all his five children’s names on his leg and his wife’s, Daniella Atim, on his neck.

Naila has featured in Chameleone’s ‘Nkwagala nnyo munnange’ and other music videos.

Quick arithmetic shows that Naila conceived at about the same time the two collaborated for the video and rumour has since abound that the famous singer is responsible.
 

When the two fell out, musically, Naila took her daughter to her mother in Kabowa, Lubaga, who raised her.
 

Analytics lab overwhelmed with DNA tests

Stanely Ahimbisibwe, the government analytics lab boss says since the Paddy Bitama paternity drama the facility has been overwhelmed by people seeking their services.
 

He says over a thousand people have been to the lab seeking DNA tests. He says most of the clients are prominent politicians, businessmen and city celebrities who suspect they could have raised children who are not theirs.

Singer Irene Namatovu also sought a solution here after a woman, Christine Nalukwago, famously claimed she was her mother.
