BEAUTY and basketball will be the unofficial theme on Day 3 of the Friday Night Lights (FNL) as reigning Miss Uganda and her ‘deputy’ make their debuts at the YMCA Wandegeya.
 
Miss Uganda Stella Nantumbwe and 1st runner-up Anita Kyarimpa will take their rivalry from the catwalk to the basketball court when they face-off in the match of the day.

Nantumbwe will feature for Team Ikong and Kyarimpa will represent Team Sudi in the penultimate clash of Day 3, which has four games.
 
The other matches include Legends v Malinga, Koma v Kasewu and Duxx v Blick and all should be hotly contested, with sh400, 000 the prize for a victory.

The intensity of FNL matches makes up for the lack of structure and strategy, keeping the fans reasonably engaged.
 
And when celebrities like Nantumbwe and Kyarimpa are involved in the action, the excitement can potentially shoot through the roof. Fans love to see their stars humanised by the basketball.
 
Mercifully for Nantumbwe and Kyarimpa, you don’t need any ball skills to look good.
